We Know. We’ve Been There Too.
I started Home Care Assistance after I had a tough time finding care for my own parents. Dad had hip replacement surgery, and not long afterwards, Mom was also injured and bedbound. They needed help fast, but I lived 2900 miles away. I found in-home help through a local agency, but the caregiver began missing appointments, arriving late, and switching shifts with cousins and friends. One day, the “caregiver” turned up the television so loudly that she couldn’t hear my parents calling for help.
That day was a defining moment, and what began as a family crisis has since evolved into a solution for thousands of families. In 2002 we founded Home Care Assistance, a home care company that provides high-quality, consistent care.
Home Care Assistance is bonded and insured, and covers all employees with workers’ compensation. Our caregivers receive the highest wages and top benefits in the industry. This strong commitment to excellent caregivers has helped us become a leading provider of non-medical, in-home senior care.
Home Care Assistance caregivers are screened and trained to ensure the highest quality of care possible. We find the best caregivers and expertly match them with the right clients to build long-term relationships. Our caregivers follow our proprietary Balanced Care Method™ —a science-based approach to promoting healthy activity, stress reduction, and social interaction for older adults so that they can live their best possible lives in the comfort of home.
With services tailored to the needs of homebound older adults, as well as services that help mobile older adults enhance their quality of life, we provide respite for family members.
There are no contracts or commitments. Our services speak for themselves, and our schedules provide the flexibility to respond to our clients’ changing needs. More than eighty-nine percent of older adults want to live in their own homes. We’re here to make sure that can happen.
